1st Day at Shawnee

Hello all, today I went to Shawnee State Forest for the first time and got my first butterflies of the year. The list is as such:
Zebra Swallowtail
Tiger Swallowtail
Juvenal's Duskywing
BROWN ELFIN
Henry's Elfin
Falcate Orangetip
Spring Azure
Cabbage White
WEST VIRGINIA WHITE
Mourning Cloak
Eastern Comma
Sleepy Duskywing
Meadow Fritillary

    Wow. What a difference a day or two makes. I was not far from Shawnee in eastern Kentucky on Saturday and only got three species. Weather makes all the difference.
